The Role
CoTrain is onboarding experienced Creative Directors and Creative Strategists to join our private expert marketplace and work directly with high-growth brands, enterprise teams, and well-funded companies building world-class marketing and creative systems.

As a Creative Director or Strategist on CoTrain, you will lead creative direction, performance messaging, campaign strategy, and high-converting creative execution across multiple brands and industries.
Experts on CoTrain contribute across:

Conversion-focused content and campaign development
What We’re Looking For
You are a strong fit if you have:
4+ years of professional experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or creative direction
Proven track record of building campaigns that drive measurable growth
Deep understanding of modern marketing channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, etc.)
Strong creative instincts across hooks, messaging, storytelling, and offer positioning
Ability to lead creative systems end-to-end, from concept through execution
Experience working with editors, designers, UGC creators, and marketing teams
Ability to operate independently and deliver with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills with both creative and analytical stakeholders
Upper-intermediate English or higher
Nice to Have
Direct-response advertising expertise (DTC, subscription, ecommerce, SaaS)
Experience scaling creative testing systems and creative pipelines
Strong copywriting and scripting ability for performance ads
Familiarity with creative analytics, iteration loops, and ROAS-driven creative decisions
Experience leading multi-channel brand launches or growth initiatives
Responsibilities
As a Creative Director or Strategist on CoTrain, you may work on projects such as:
Developing creative strategy for paid acquisition and brand growth
Writing and directing high-performing ad concepts, scripts, and campaign narratives
Building scalable creative testing frameworks and iteration systems
Collaborating with founders, CMOs, and growth teams to align creative with business goals
Reviewing creative performance and optimizing based on real data
Leading creative production across UGC, motion, static, and hybrid formats
Establishing brand voice, positioning, and messaging consistency
Documenting creative systems and playbooks for long-term execution

Compensation
CoTrain opportunities are priced at the expert level, based on experience and project scope.
Hourly Rate: $75–$180 per hour
Annual Equivalent: $155,000–$375,000+ per year (full-time workload)
